HOW IT ALL WORKS
This 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training is divided into 6 modules that are 50 hours each. Students will be responsible for an on-line teaching practicum at the end of each 100 hours to show they have mastered the content.
Every 50-hour module includes both prerecorded and live sessions. Live sessions are not mandatory to attend. All lectures are recorded and available to watch as the student's schedule allows.
This online 300 hour yoga teacher training is completed at your own pace. There are no set completion or date commitments for fulfilling the Higher Yoga Academy graduation requirements. *Please note that Yoga Alliance has currently confirmed acceptance of online certifications through December 31st, 2021.

CERTIFICATION
Higher Yoga Academy is fully accredited by Yoga Alliance which allows us to certify graduates to teach anywhere in the world.
Taking our 300HR Advanced Higher Yoga Teacher Training this year you can be awarded with the RYT300 title without leaving home!
*Upon successful completion, you can also obtain RYT500 certification assuming prior RYT200 certification.
WHO ARE THE MASTERCLASS TEACHERS
CRISTIAAN - SENIOR TEACHER AT HIGHER YOGA ACADEMY
Christiaan is a Yoga Alliance E-RYT500 certified Yoga instructor. He started his yoga practice and training in the 1970’s. His most formative years were spent in the study of various Buddhist lineages alongside intense training in the Taoist martial arts.
Although originally from the United States, Christiaan has lived in China since the 1980’s and has been traveling across Asia teaching Asana, Pranayama, Buddhist meditation, Yoga philosophy and esoteric Taoist practices in India, China and South East Asia for more than forty years.
ALEX - FOUNDER & CEO OF HIGHER YOGA ACADEMY
While first introduced to eastern philosophy and meditation in childhood, Alex has been studying and practicing Yoga since 2000, constantly aiming to realize its essence beyond the physical.
At the age of 16 Alex was initiated into the practice of yogic meditation and remained fully immersed in the practice for several years. He later started to teach classes sharing the knowledge of self-realized yogis along with his own experience and insights received during his apprenticeship and years of daily study and practice.
Since 2013 Alex has lived in Thailand and continues teaching the essence of Yoga within Yoga Teacher Trainings and beyond. The mission of his classes is to explain the essence and hidden power of Yoga in a simple digestible manner in order to help students deepen and improve their practice. Alex has trained over 50 200HR and 300HR Yoga Teacher Trainings apart from dozens of advanced Yoga courses and workshops both online and in person.

How this course is different?
This is the only online YTT course that aims to help you grow into a yogi, not just asana and pranayama practitioner/instructor. At the end of this course you will understand, master and be able to add powerful higher Yoga techniques to your daily asana practice and teaching.
Is this course right for me?
If you have completed a 200-hour YTT, have internet access and desire to dig deeper into your yoga journey this course is for you. If you teach, this is a great opportunity to refine your teaching skills. However, you can also enjoy this course without any intention to teach yoga, simply by seeking personal growth and spirituality.
When does the course start?
You can start the course at any time, there is no fixed start date. The full access to the course materials, our private group and teachers' support is granted as soon as the tuition fees have been paid.
What are the time requirements to complete this course?
You can take as much time as you need to complete the course. As long as you complete it by the end of 2021, you can be certified by Yoga Alliance. (This period is likely to be extended by YA - we will keep you updated!)
