- 7:00-9:00 Integrated Hatha-yoga practice
- 9:00-10:00 Breakfast
- 10:00-11:00 Yoga Philosophy & Meditation
- 11:15-13:15 Asana Clinic/Methodology
- 13:15-15:30 Lunch & Free Time*
- 15:30-17:30 Anatomy/Methodology/Yin/Restorative
This is a sample schedule and may vary from day to day. Some days additional activities may be added. We train from Monday to Saturday. Sunday is a day off.
*Thai-style vegan lunch buffet will be offered on the premises at 13:15.
Certification
Higher Yoga Academy is fully accredited by Yoga Alliance which allows us to certify graduates to teach anywhere in the world.
Taking our 200HR (Advanced) Integrated Higher Yoga Teacher Training you can be awarded with the RYT200 title if you don't have it yet, or add another 100 hours of study and practice with our online master class and get the RYT300 title.
Upon successful completion of 300 hours, you can also obtain RYT500 certification assuming prior RYT200 certification.
Where you will practice...
This Yoga Teacher Training will be hosted at Pranayama Garden - a beautiful venue on a magical island of Koh Phangan, Thailand.
Surrounded by tropical nature, Pranayama Garden is the perfect setting to relax into deep practice, introspection and self-inquiry.
The space includes a Yoga hall, an outdoor lounge area with a library, an outdoor kitchen, and a tropical garden.

Meet your teachers!

Alex (E-RYT500)
Alex was initiated into the practice of yogic meditation at the age of 16 and remained fully immersed in the practice for several years. He later started to teach classes sharing the knowledge of self-realized yogis along with his own experience and insights received during his apprenticeship and years of daily study and practice.
Alex has taught in over fifty 200hr and 300hr Yoga Teacher Trainings as well as supervised dozens of advanced Yoga courses and workshops both online and in person.

Elisa (E-RYT500)
Elisa has been one of Alex’s senior students for many years and is currently sharing the knowledge of Higher Yoga in Europe and beyond.
She aims is to bring awareness to the ancient practices of the Yoga tradition by making them accessible for the modern world in a non-dogmatic way, combining it with newest scientific research. She specializes in advanced embodiment techniques, sharing the knowledge of Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra to help her students go beyond the body using mindful Asana practice, Pranayama and Meditation.

Christiaan (E-RYT500)
An experienced and seasoned yogi, Christiaan started his practice and training in the 1970’s. His most formative years were spent in the study of various Buddhist lineages alongside intense training in the Taoist martial arts.
Christiaan has lived in China since the 1980’s and has trained select groups of students in rare and esoteric Pranayama, meditation and Taoist practices throughout India, China and South East Asia.

Lumi (E-RYT500)
Through studying with experienced teachers and her personal practice Lumi has acquired a deep understanding of how to integrate the more subtle aspects of breath and mindfulness to the asana practice, incorporating these elements to her teaching. Paired with a deep knowledge of alignment and movement principles, she approaches the practice in a holistic manner, in order to benefit body, mind, and soul.
Lumi has been organizing workshops and teaching in 200hr YTTs in India, Thailand, Malasia and Europe since 2015.
Asana-Pranayama-Meditation no longer separate, but integrated into one powerful higher Yoga practice!
